Karma stories are always good for a great laugh

By titia.maas@web.de

I like Peter Shankman ever since his tweet to his favorite steakhouse saying: “Hey @Mortens – can you meet me at newark airport with a porterhouse when I land in two hours? K, thanks. :)” His face when they actually showed up with his steak must have been priceless.

Well I started to follow him on Facebook lately and two days ago one of his post got almost 400K likes. That is a lot of people! His prior post only got 144 likes. That’s a very big difference…

What did I learn from this? When Karma “bites people in the ass” people love it. Yet when the same person tells them they are awesome they could care less … I guess I need to digest that :-)

What I like about the Karma story is that Matt and the guy he interviewed had a good laugh over it. He did not get the job but not because of his faux pas. Life told him a lesson but one that did not hurt. Those lessons are the best.

The ones the whole world can have a laugh about.
