Real encouragement makes all the difference

By titia.maas@web.de

The Butterfly Circus

A while back I watched the The Butterfly Circus and felt the power of real encouragement. If you can make someone truly believe in themselves – so they actually feel it in their veins – than miracles can happen!

Encouragement is my word for the day!

The Butterfly Circus is an absolutely marvelous short independent film, created by Joshua and Rebekah Weigel in 2009. I saw it 3 times by now and it made me cry each time because it is just so beautiful.

You can overcome your own struggles no matter how hard that may seem. Take your faith into your own hands even when you have no hands at all.

And I love the embrace Will & the little boy give each other at the end of the movie. It is a movie full of love and full of life. Showing that life is more than worth living!

One of the main characters from the movie is Will who has no arms and no legs. I wrote before about Nick Vujicic. He is one of these great people that found joy & purpose in their life and moreover find it over and over again through bringing joy to others. His story surely is a remarkable one.

I am personally not religious. Yet if God can bring hope to people who need it – and make them shine a beautifully as Nick does – then that makes me very happy!
