The full jar

By titia.maas@web.de

Yesterday I wrote about the empty jar  and the great advise from Lora. Her story truly resonated with me. So today I thought let’s talk about a full jar.

I was looking on Google for a nice image on a full jar I found an awesome “warm fuzzy” jar on the blog “A love for teaching“.

This jar is used in class rooms to give acknowledgment when children are being kind to another.

Miss Paul wrote: “Here is my Warm Fuzzy Jar! As I see students doing kind thing, serving, helping each other, encouraging each other etc. they will get a piece of paper and a pom pom (warm fuzzy) to put in our Warm Fuzzy Jar!  When the jar is full we will have a class party! The only stipulation is that everyone in the class has to have contributed a Warm Fuzzy in order for us to have the party!  I’m really excited to see how this will contribute to a positive classroom environment where my student will be excited to come and be able to learn to the best of their ability!”

What a great idea! Immediately I think of several places I would like to get one installed :-)

Including one in my own house. You can never have enough warm fuzzies (and parties :-)) !
